Kate Gillou

Catherine Marie Blanche "Kate" Gillou - Fenwick ( born February 19, 1887 in Paris, † February 16, 1967 ibid ) was a French tennis player at the beginning of the 20th century.

Known are their victories in the Championnat de France International de Tennis, the predecessor of the French Open tournament. In their time, but were only amateurs who are members in a French Club entitled to attend. Only since 1925, the tournament is open to players of all clubs and since 1968 also for professionals.

She won the tournament in women's singles in 1904, 1905, 1906 and 1908. Between 1904 and 1908 she also won the Mixed alongside Max Decugis.

At the Olympic Summer Games 1908 in London, she failed with her partner Pierre Verdi Delisle in the first round of the Mixed tournament.
