Kate Linder
Kate Linder ( born November 2, 1947 in Pasadena, California) is an American actress.
Life and career
The actress was born on 2 November 1947 as Catherine Helene Wolveck. Even in high school she became interested in acting. She studied at the San Francisco State University and earned a degree (BA ) in Theatre Arts. During her studies she began as a flight attendant for Trans America to work and played at the same theater.
They became known as the longtime actress in the soap opera Young and the Restless, in which she since April 1982 playing the role of Esther Valentine, the housekeeper of Katherine Chancellor, who is played by Jeanne Cooper. For her life's work Linder was on 10 April 2008 a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Even after starting her acting career, Linder continued to work as a flight attendant for United Airlines. She is married to Ronald Linder since 1976, the two live in Los Angeles.
