Kate Markgraf

Kathryn Michele Markgraf ( born August 23, 1976 in Bloomfield Hills as Kathryn Michele Sobrero ) is an American soccer player. It is a defensive player.

Margrave began her career at the Detroit County Day School, where she won numerous titles and awards both in football and volleyball. After school, she studied at the University of Notre Dame. With the college team they won the 1995 national championship.

In 1998 she made ​​her debut in a match against Argentina in the U.S. national team. A year later she became world champion. At the World Championships in 2003 and 2007 she won the U.S. each selection in third place. By 2010, she denied 201 caps for the U.S. women's national team.
