The Katenbäke is a river in the Lower Saxon counties Diepholz and Oldenburg.

The 13-km long has, right-side tributary of the River Hunte its source west of the hamlet Twistringer Altenmarhorst directly to the K 104 ( Colnrader road). It then flows in a northwesterly direction through the forest Dehmse further between the towns Reckum and Winkelsett and then further west towards Wildeshausen. It flows south and north of the Katenbäker Heide nature reserve Pestruper Moor in the Hunte.

In the Bach eel, trout, perch, bream, pike, sea trout, roach and perch can be caught.
