Katja Tengel

Katja Tengel (* June 27, 1981 as Katja Wakan in Eisleben ) is a German sprinter.

After Wakan had won the 4 x 100 - meter relay bronze at the U23 European Championships in 2003, she was nominated for the 2003 World Championships in Paris -Saint- Denis. As a final leg by Melanie Paschke, Marion Wagner and Sandra Möller she took fifth place in the final in 43.27 s A year later separated the German squadron with Katja Wakan as a starting runner at the 2004 Olympics in Athens in the run- off.
