Katsu Aki

Katsu Aki (Japanese克·亜 树, born September 19, 1961 in Nishi- ku, Fukuoka, Japan), the stage name of the Japanese mangaka Katsuaki Nakamura (中 村 克明, Katsuaki Nakamura ).

His debut as a professional manga artist, he graduated in 1983 with Mary rarabai in the manga magazine Hana to Yume. He achieved his breakthrough, however, only when he began with The Vision of Escaflowne 1994, at Sunrise was still in the development of the Anime and in 1996 became an international success.

Since 1997, he published the successful also in Germany Series Manga Love Story, as well as parallel since 2003 Manga Love Story for Ladies in Young Animal magazine. In addition, since 2004 he is working on Love Lucky that appears in Young Magazine.
