Katy Hudson is the gospel -rock debut studio album by Katy Hudson, Katy Perry today, the time attempted to be successful with their birth name. The album was in 2001, when Perry was 17 years old, published in the genre Christian Music on Red Hill Records, before she moved to the mainstream pop music.

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic called over-produced the album, and it was clear that " the city girl had never been so happy to hang out on a Christian farm ". The album show that today's Katy Perry had talent, she had been but " marketed wrong." He missed three out of five stars.
