Hello Katy Tour
The Hello Katy Tour was the first world tour of American pop singer Katy Perry. The tour was promoting Perry's first studio album One of the Boys. She led from January to November 2009 North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. A total of 89 concerts were given.
Background
In November 2008, after the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008, she had moderated, Perry announced the tour. In an interview with Billboard Perry said:
" I have the guy who Creates stages for Madonna working on this tour, I'm indulging my obsession with fruit and cats and designing all different outfits. "
