Kees Ouwens

Cornelis Johannes " Kees " Ouwens (* June 27, 1944 in Zeist, † August 24 2004 in Heemstede ) was a Dutch poet and novelist.

Although Kees Ouwens also wrote prose, he gained great importance as an experimental poet in the Dutch literature. He debuted in 1968 with the poetry collection "Arcadia" and the content related novel " De strategy ".

2002, all published previously published poems in " All poems dead dusver ". A year later, the publisher Meulenhoff then gave his prose in " All romans dead dusver " out. Appeared in 2005 in Meulenhoff posthumously, but still issued by Kees Owens himself, the poems " Ben jij het ​​, ik? ".

Despite its importance in the Netherlands, his work has not been translated into German.
