Keiko Tsushima

Keiko Tsushima (Japanese津 岛 恵 子, Keiko Tsushima, born Naoko Mori (森 直 子), born February 7, 1926 in Izuhara (now Tsushima ), Nagasaki Prefecture; † August 1, 2012 in the prefecture of Tokyo) was a Japanese actress.

Tsushima gave dance lessons at the film studio Shochiku Ofuna when it was discovered for the film. Your debut appearance was in 1947 in the black -and-white drama Anjo - ke no butōkai. She became famous for her role in Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai (1954). Later she took mainly mother and grandmother roles in Japanese television. With 86 years she died of stomach cancer.
