Ngom (also Angom, Bangom, Bangomo, Ngomo, Ongom and Ungom ) is a Bantu language and is spoken by about 12,770 people in Gabon and the Republic of Congo ( census 2000).

It is widespread in Gabon in the provinces Ogooué- Ivindo and Ogooué- Lolo with about 8240 speakers and in the Republic of Congo in the region Cuvette -Ouest with about 4530 speakers.

Ngom is written in the Latin script.

Classification

Ngom is a Northwest Bantu language and belongs to Kele group that is classified as Guthrie Zone B20.
