Kelli Hand

Kelli Maria Hand alias K. Hand ( * ca 1965 in Detroit ) is an American techno musician and DJ. They also published under other pseudonyms such as By Kely, Budget Solid, Gorsch, Messenger and Queen Mecca.

Life

Kelli Hand was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up there as well. She began in the 1980s in Detroit her career as a DJ. In 1990 she founded her own label Acacia Records. In the early 1990s, first singles and EPs released. Internationally, it has been known in the techno scene in 1994 with their published on the British label Warp Records Single Global Warning. In 1995, she released her debut album On A Journey.

In the same year left hand Detroit and moved to Atlanta, returned, however, two years later back again.

1997 appeared on more albums! K7 Records, Substance and exit.

With Detroit History Part 1 2001 she released a new album on Tresor occasion of the exhibition curated by Carl Craig Detroit Electronic Music Festival ( DEMF ).
