Keminub

Keminebu was an ancient Egyptian queen of the 13th dynasty. It is so far known only from their burial next to the pyramid of Amenemhet II at Dahshur. Your only of traditional title is king consort.

The funeral of the Queen found herself in a grave condition, which consisted of a long corridor and two of them going off grave chambers. In one of the grave chambers was the burial of the Keminebu, in the other, the Treasurer's Amenhotep. Both burials were found robbed and could be assigned to their owners only on the basis of labeled coffin fragments.

In the earlier literature Keminebu was regarded as wife of Amenemhat II. Recent research has shown that it dated to the 13th Dynasty. Especially all animal hieroglyphics on her coffin are shown mutilated. This is typical of the 13th Dynasty and Second Intermediate Period. The inscriptions of the coffin are of some importance, since they carry parts of the Book of the Dead 151 award, which has the mummy mask on the topic. So far, it is the earliest evidence of the section of this chapter.
