Ken Kotyk

Ken Kotyk ( born February 7, 1981 in Canora ) is a Canadian Bobsportler.

Ken Kotyk lives in Calgary. He began 2003 with the Bobsleigh and since then also belongs to the Canadian national team. He heard as a brakeman for the team to the pilot Pierre Lueders. At the University of Saskatchewan, where he studied kinesiology and English, he played volleyball and track and field operation. His athletics coach Todd Johnston took him to the Bobs. Already in his second World Cup race in Lake Placid, he came in sixth in the Lueders - man bob among the top ten. So far (as of 9 December 2007) he was able to win three -man bobsleigh World Cup. When Bob World Cup 2005 in Calgary native, he won the bronze medal in the four-man event. The next year he missed the Lueders - four fourth at the 2006 Olympics medal scarce. Things went better at the Bob World Championships 2007 in St. Moritz. There the Lueders - four won the silver medal with Kotyk.
