Kënga Magjike

Kenga Magjike (Albanian for " the magic song", shortly KM) is taking place annually since 1999, singing competition. Idea carrier and producer is Ardit Gjebrea.

History

Kenga Magjike was first held in November 1999 as an alternative music festival of light music. Ardit Gjebrea - one of the most famous singers in Albania - wanted to combine the most famous musical talents of Albania on the stage, many of which had not occurred for many years. The Albanian President Rexhep Meidani honored during the transmission of a juror with a price. The festival was a great success with 34 songs presented. The competition was first aired by TVSH, RTV 21 and five radio stations.

Also in the following years Kenga Magjike took place. 2002, it was first broadcast by RTK in Kosovo. Many internationally famous stars, singers and composers join Ardit Gjebreas Go to: including Brigitte Nielsen in 2003, Samantha Fox and Rednex in 2004 and the opera tenor Saimir Pirgu in 2006.

TV Klan is since 2003 regular main organizer of the show. In 2007, the competition is a major success: He reports high viewership and for the first time, the festival will also broadcast in Macedonia by ALSAT -M.

Venues

So far, the festival was held in Tirana Palace of Congress (Albanian Pallati i kongreseve ). Only the host in 2004 was held in the Kosovo capital Pristina.
