Kenny Vance

Kenny Vance (actually Kenneth Rosenberg ) ( born December 9, 1943 in New York City ) is an American singer and music producer who is a founding member of the group Jay and the Americans.

Vance has worked in a variety of film and television productions. He was the musical consultant for the production of the films I think, ' Animal House and Eddie and the Cruisers. In the latter he was looking for the soundtrack of the 1970er/1980er band John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band from. For the film Looking For An Echo, he composed the theme song of the same name and lent the actor Armand Assante his voice.

1977 Vance sang as a guest at New York's 90-minute television show Saturday Night Live and in 1980 their musical director, as he was responsible for the commitment of the musical guests. He engaged Aretha Franklin, Prince, as well as James Brown.

Since 1992 he performs with his own doo-wop group Kenny Vance & The Plano sound.
