Kenshiro Abbe

Kenshiro Abe (Japanese阿 部 谦 四郎, Kenshiro Abe, * December 15, 1916 in Tokushima, † December 1, 1985 ) was a Japanese Judo Instructor of the Butokukai. Before he learned Judo, he trained aikido, kendo ( 6th Dan ) and Jukendo. He began to teach at the end of 1930 Butokukai and worked on the Doshisa University. At times he was the Police Department made ​​in Kyoto. 1955 Abe emigrated to England, where he established his own dojo. When a car accident in 1970, he suffered serious injury or consequential damages, prompting him to return to Japan.
