Kensuke Tanabe

Kensuke Tanabe (Japanese田边 贤 辅Kensuke Tanabe, born January 26, 1963 in Ikeda, Osaka ), also known as Kenji Tanabe is a Japanese game developers.

Career

In April 1986, Kensuke Tanabe was employed by the Japanese video game company Nintendo. He was assigned as a designer and project manager Shigeru Miyamoto Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development Division. His first project was Dream Factory: Nervous Panic and Super Mario Bros. 2, in which he served as Director. Some years later, Tanabe was promoted to producer and assigned to 2004, the Nintendo Software Planning & Development (SPD). There he serves as producer of the third SPD department and is responsible for the cooperation with the Nintendo studios Intelligent Systems and Retro Studios. He also collaborates with Next Level Games and Monster Games.
