Kerrea Gilbert

Kerrea kitchen Gilbert (born 28 February 1987 in Hammersmith, London) is an English footballer. The defender Gilbert, whose first name " Kerry " is pronounced, usually comes right in the back four for use, but can also play as a central defender.

Career

Since 2003, Gilbert is at Arsenal under contract at the beginning of the season 2005/ 06 he went there on into the professional squad. In order to give the Englishman match practice, he was loaned out for the season 2006/07 Cardiff City. He was then loaned out at the beginning of the 2007/08 season at Southend United and returned after only five games and personal differences with manager Steve Tilson in January 2008 back to Arsenal.

For another year Gilbert joined on 10 July 2008 again on loan to Leicester City, which had just been relegated to the third English league. His first competitive goal, where he succeeded on 3 March 2009 in a 1-1 draw against Stockport County.

On 13 December 2010 Gilbert signed a contract with the U.S. soccer franchise the Portland Timbers.
