Kerstin Walther

Kerstin Walther ( born April 15, 1961 in Altenburg ) is a former German athlete who had with the East German squadron won the gold medal in the 4 x 400 - meter relay at the World Championships 1983 ( 3:19,73 min; together with Sabine Busch, Marita Koch and Dagmar Rübsam as well as in the run- Ellen Fiedler and Undine Bremer).

At the Junior European Championships 1979 Kerstin Walther had won the title over 100, 200 meters and the 4 x 100 - meter relay. In 1983 she was Champion Hall of the GDR over 200 meters. Kerstin Walther started for the SC DHfK Leipzig. At a height of 1.75 m her competition weight was 65 kg.
