Kevin Dowling

Kevin Patrick Dowling, C.Ss.R. ( born February 14, 1944 in Pretoria) is a bishop of Rustenburg.

Life

Kevin Patrick Dowling joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists and received on 9 July 1967, the ordination. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 2 December 1990 as bishop of Rustenburg.

The Archbishop of Durban, Denis Hurley OMI Eugene, consecrated him on 27 January of the following year to the bishop; Co-consecrators were George Francis Daniel, Archbishop of Pretoria and the South African Military Ordinariate Bishop, Lawrence and Patrick Henry, Archbishop of Cape Town.
