Kevin Dunn (bishop)

Kevin John Dunn ( born July 9, 1950 in Stoke -on-Trent, England; † March 1, 2008 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England) was a Roman Catholic bishop of Hexham and Newcastle in England.

Life

In 2004 he was appointed by John Paul II to the 12th Bishop of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. He received his episcopal consecration on May 25, 2004, his predecessor, Michael Ambrose Griffiths; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Liverpool, Patrick Altham Kelly and the then Archbishop of Birmingham, Vincent Nichols.

He was friends with his neighbors Anglican NT Wright, Bishop of Durham.
