Kevin Maguire (artist)

Kevin Maguire ( born 1960 ) is an American comic book artist and writer who ( JLA ) was known in the late eighties through his work on the DC Comics series Justice League. He worked mostly with the writers Keith Giffen and JM DeMatteis together, often with Fabian Nicieza.

Later he has the first three parts of the four -part Prestige miniseries "The Adventures of Captain America Sentinel of Liberty " ', drawn and designed a variety of covers for multiple series (Marvel Comics German edition Panini ). 1997 appeared Trinity Angels ( Acclaim ), the first series in which he participated not only as artist but also as a scenarist.

Kevin Maguire draws and writes now mainly miniseries and special issues.

In 2004 he received together with Giffen, DeMatteis and Joe Rubinstein the Eisner Award for Best Humor Publication category for the six-part miniseries " Formerly Known as the Justice League ".
