Kevin Prufer

Life

Examiner completed his studies with a B. A. at Wesleyan University and M. A. at Hollins University from. Then he went to Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he acquired the MFA.

Today ( 2011) is Prufer Professor of the English Language at the University of Houston and editor of the literary journal Pleiades: A Journal of New Writing.

For his work he was awarded with prizes and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in the field of literature:

Prufer lives in Houston, Texas along with the artist and critic Mary Hallab.
