Khan (Band)

Khan was a British progressive rock band from the Canterbury scene.

It was founded by Steve Hillage (guitar), Nicholas Greenwood ( bass), Dick Henningham ( keyboards) and Pip Pyle (drums). The band opted for Terry King as manager, who managed even caravan. The now subsequent concerts, among others with Caravan, Steamhammer and Gnidrolog led to a recording contract with Decca / Deram Records.

The only album " Space Shanty " was 1971/72 was added to the last occupation Steve Hillage (guitar ), Nick Greenwood (bass ), David Stewart ( keyboards) and Eric Peachey (drums) and published in 1972.
