Khenpo Shenga

Shenphen Nangwa (Tib. gzhan phan snang ba, * 1871, † 1927) or Khenpo Shenga ( mkhan po gzhan dga ' ) was a prominent scholar of the Nyingma and Sakya traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. He was a student of Patrul Rinpoche.

He was the author of famous Comments on Thirteen Indian classical Buddhist texts ( chen bcu gsum gzhung ), the Thirteen Great comments which form an integral part of the curriculum Shedra the Nyingma, Kagyu and Sakya schools.

One of his haunts was the monastic College Shri Singha of Dzogchen Monastery.
