The Khersones (Ukrainian Херсонес ) is a Ukrainian sail training ship.
It was 1988/89 built in the Lenin Shipyard in Gdansk, as part of a series of six sister ships, which include the I own. It is named after the ancient city of Chersonese on the north coast of the Black Sea.
The Khersones is 109.40 meters long, 14 meters wide and has a draft of 6.6 meters. She is a full-rigged ship with 2,771 m² sail area and an additional two 570 hp Cegielski - Sulzer diesel engines.
