Kibwe Johnson

Kibwe Johnson (born 17 July 1981) is an American hammer thrower.

In 2006 he was the national indoor championship in the weight throw. In 2007 he was U.S. vice- champion in the hammer throw and won the silver medal at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2008 he became a U.S. indoor champion in the weight throw, 2010 U.S. runner-up in the hammer throw.

In 2011 he went as a U.S. champion at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu, but different in the qualifier. End of the season he won at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara.

Kibwe Johnson is 1,88 m tall and weighs 108 kg. He is coached by Anatoly Bondarchuk and starts for the New York Athletic Club.
