Kim Aeran

Kim Aeran (* 1980 in Incheon ) is a South Korean writer.

Life

Kim Aeran was born in 1980 in Incheon. Your collection of short stories run, Pappa! ( 달려라 아비 ) came into the limelight when it was awarded the 2005 Hanguk Ilbo Literature Prize. At this time Kim was just twenty-five, and making her the youngest winner ever and the first with her anthology. 2008 her story sword blow ( 칼자국 ) was awarded the Yi Hyosŏk Literature Prize, also the youngest winner. If Kim's name is mentioned, then getting in touch with ' recent ' or ' young writer '. Perhaps that is only natural, since she is only in her twenties, although already more than five years have passed since her debut. Although she has the fresh and lively writing style of a young writer, so their works are still serious and valuable.

The characters in Kim's stories are young people in their twenties, draw from the countryside to Seoul. What does Kim's works so entertaining are the surprising mysteries of life that one finds in everyday life of normal young men.
