Kim Christensen (footballer born 1980)

Kim Christensen ( born May 8, 1980) is a Danish football player at the position of a striker. Currently he is in the squad of FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga.

Club career

Christensen began his career at Danish club Lyngby BK. In December 2001 he was transferred for a detachment of 500 000 DKK abroad for Hamburger SV. He had a hard time finding his way into the starting line-up and in the summer of 2003, he moved to the Netherlands FC Twente. In Twente he was used more.

When his contract expired in Twente in July 2005, he went without a transfer fee back to Denmark Brøndby IF. After a year at Brøndby, he moved to league rivals Odense BK.
