Kim Won-jung
Kim Won -jung ( born December 18, 1984 in Seoul) is a South Korean professional ice hockey player who stands since 2013 in Daemyung Sangmu in the Asia League Ice Hockey under contract.
Career
Kim Won -jung began his career as a hockey player in the team of Kyung Bok high school. The age of 19, he spent three years with the team of Korea University. There, the Anyang Halla, one of the two South Korean teams in the Asia League Ice Hockey noticed him and signed him in 2006. After he was still not used at all in the first year, he ran in the Asia since 2007 more than 200 times for his team League on. In both 2010 and 2011, he was able to win with his team the championship of this league with teams from China, Japan and South Korea. 2013 he left Anyang Halla and plays since then for Daemyung Sangmu, the newly formed South Korean third team in the Asia League Ice Hockey.
Internationally
For South Korea, Kim Won -jung took part already at the U-18 and U- 20 World Cup. At the World Championships 2008 Kim made his debut in the South Korean men's team, but could not avoid relegation from Division I. But a year later contributed his two goals to a rebirth. This time it went better for the Asians, which was achieved by 5-2 in the final game against Croatia, which also includes Kim contributed a goal in the 2010 championships for the first time the league in Division I. In 2011 and 2012 represented his country Kim again at the World Championships.
