Kirchhoff (crater)

Kirchhoff is an impact crater on the moon northeastern front in the mountains of Montes Taurus, west of the crater Newcomb. The crater is eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German physicist Gustav Robert Kirchhoff.
