Kista metro station

Kista is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in the center of the eponymous district of Kista. The station is served by the Blå linjen the Stockholm subway system. It is among the most frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day 16,000 commuters to climb here.

The station was taken on June 5, 1977 in operation, as the portion of the Blå linjen was opened between Hallonbergen and Akalla. The platforms are located above ground in high position. The station is the only linjen Blå, which is above ground. Right next to the station is the Kista Galleria, one of the most modern shopping centers in Sweden. The station is located between the stations Hallonbergen and Husby. Stockholm Central Station, there are about 11.5 km.
