Kitty Margolis

Kitty Margolis ( born November 7, 1955 in San Mateo, California) is an American singer of modern jazz.

Life and work

Margolis studied at Harvard University and San Francisco State University ( in John Handy ). Then they started in the jazz clubs of the " Bay Area" and perform at regional festivals. 1989 she released her first album, " Live At the Jazz Workshop". She went almost every year at the Monterey Jazz Festival and subsequently in other festivals in America, as well as the North Sea Jazz Festival and Norway. Regularly, the singer since the 1990s occurred in Europe and Japan, where she also accompanied prominiente sidemen such as Red Holloway and John Handy.
