Klappmaul Theater

The Klappmaul Theatre (the name derives from the concept of moving-mouth puppets and figures ) was an independent theater group ( tour operation) and went from 1975 to 2005 in kindergartens, schools and public facilities as well as on the stages of many city, state, and State Theater in German-speaking countries (including Austria and Switzerland ) on. Since the pieces responded kids and adults alike, Klappmaul was also often referred to as a family theater.

The artistic direction was seen in the 30 years of existence, has always collectively by the respective shareholders, most recently, these were: Michael Kloss, Thomas Korte, Oskar Mahler ( founder of the theater ) and Alexander Krein - Zipser. The ensemble worked, among others, along with Sylvain Cambreling, Eva Demski, Bodo Kolbe, Andreas Meyer- Hanno, Peter must Bach, Annemarie Roelofs, Manfred Roth, Gerhard Schedl, Peter Schönhofer and Hermann Treusch. The Klappmaul Theatre was co-founder and partner of theater house Frankfurt. The theater group was supported by the Office of Science and Arts of the City of Frankfurt and the Hessian Ministry for Science and Art.
