Klaus Bruengel

Klaus J. Brüngel, Klaus Bruengel, (born 2 October 1949 in Holzwickede ) is a German composer. He also joined as bassist out ( electric bass and double bass) and has numerous musical works, especially in e-book written format. Brüngel is also known under the pseudonym Nicola de Brun. These are his 46 musical representations of the characters and places of Homer's epic Odyssey, summarized in an Odyssey Suite.

Life and work

Brüngel studied from 1968 to 1971 at the Conservatory of Dortmund. At the University of Münster, he also studied educational sciences. He played mostly bass at Kurt Weil Orchestra in Sweden and at the WDR studio band under the direction of Harald Banter. He also worked from 1980 to 1985 at the Schauspielhaus Bochum Claus Peymann in the plays Saint Joan of the Stockyards, The Cherry Orchard, Our Republic and Die Fledermaus with. At the Schauspielhaus Bochum Brüngel Herbert Grönemeyer first met, together with Markus Stockhausen made ​​music the three in the Cologne group "Ocean".
