Klaus Eberhartinger

Klaus Peter Karl Eberhartinger ( born June 12, 1950 in Gmunden, Upper Austria ) is an Austrian singer and presenter.

In Braunau am Inn Eberhartinger grew up and graduated from the Matura in 1968. Then he stayed for a year in the United States of America, before he began to study medicine in Graz, where he also know the sister of Thomas Spitzer, a later bandmates in the EAV and love learning. Finally Eberhartinger interrupted his studies, took in Munich different jobs and eventually bought a Land Rover to tour Africa. Returned to Austria, he resumed his studies in Graz on again, until he went in the SAB 1981. In 1985 his son Christopher was born. With the mother Klaus Eberhartinger is still good friends, she takes care of his financial affairs.

Since the mid- 1990s Eberhartinger usually spends half the year in Kenya, where Thomas Spitzer has bought a house.

In addition to various CD releases and tours of the SAB, he played the role of temporary Gailtalerin in the stage play " The watzmann calls ." This successful production spent two years on tour. In the third season of Dancing with the Stars in early 2007, he landed with his dance partner Kelly Kainz in the first place, after he was a few weeks before, just before the exit, because he had broken a rib during training.
