The Kleinaschaff is the left source stream of Aschaff in the Aschaffenburg district in the Bavarian Spessart. Some see " Kleinaschaff " only as a secondary name for the upper reaches of the Aschaff and some cards to label this source branch of Aschaff already from its source to its name.

Geography

Aschaffquelle

The Kleinaschaff springs southeast of Waldaschaff in a narrow valley in Waldaschaffer forest, near Weibersbrunn. The source is in focus and is formally named Aschaffquelle. At times, a stream flowing into the source area, which is but dry most of the time. A planned for 2015 Viaduct at the source, where the A is running 3 is to get the name of Viaduct Aschaffquelle.

Course

The A3 accompanied on the slopes of the north-west running valley of Kleinaschaff the water body that receives the Geißbach and then bends to the north. There, the newly built Kauppenbrücke the A 3 spans the lower valley. In Waldaschaff the Kleinaschaff united with the little shorter Autenbach, the approach flows from the east of a narrow valley, to Aschaff.

For the construction of the new Kauppenbrücke the Kleinaschaff had to be a little misplaced.
