KÅ‚odzko County

The powiat Kłodzki is a powiat ( county ) in the Polish Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The district primarily comprises the territories of the former County of Glatz and the former counties Glatz and Habelschwerdt and has an area of ​​1643.37 km ², of which 164,000 inhabitants live. Due to the peripheral location in the mountains, the region is now one of the poorest of southern Poland, particularly in comparison to the Upper Silesian industrial area near Katowice.
