Klosterbach (Schwarzbach)

The Klosterbach is about 5.7 km long, orographic right tributary of the Black Bach in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany, in the district of Gütersloh arises in the field of city Werther (Westfalen ) on the northern slope of the Teutoburg Forest in multiple sources and in the field the city of Bielefeld opens. The Klosterbach is, after he has passed under the Bielefelderstraße / Straße and there on the southwest Hasberg flows past the last 2.4 km of its course Hasbach.

Particularity

At one of the sources of the growing on tree bark fork -moss was ( Dicranum tauricum ) (See also the ordinary fork -moss ) detected. Although this plant is often the case, however, the form occurring here is equipped with spore capsules and so far unique in Northern Germany. The ripening in the capsules spores are spread by the wind. In addition to this source, these capsules has been demonstrated in Germany only in Thuringia and Saarland. Commonly, the plant spreads only with the help of broken leaf pieces.
