Klubbheads
The Klubbheads are a three-member Dutch producer team in electronic dance music, which was able to celebrate more success in Europe, especially in the late 1990s. Among the most famous productions include the singles Klubbhopping and Kickin ' Hard. The sound of the Klubbheads can best be classified as progressive house.
History
The Klubbheads consist of the members Koen Groeneveld (DJ BoozyWoozy ), Addy van der Zwan ( Itty Bitty ) and January Voermans ( Greatski ). While Groeneveld and van der Zwan already worked together in the early 1990s, Voermans only joined in 1995 added to the lineup. Then founded the three her own label 'Blue Records' and from then on were under the name " Klubbheads " active. Their third release Klubbhopping, which became a club hit throughout Europe, was the breakthrough for the trio. In addition to other singles which also proved to be mainly in the Netherlands and in England as commercially successful, the Klubbheads to increasingly sought-after remixers and were received, among other remixes for the Vengaboys, DJ Supreme, Sash, scooter and Salt'N'Pepa. Consequence of these sometimes very popular work was that the 1998's first album of the Klubbheads entitled kick you hard contained, in addition to his own productions and a selection of their best known remixes.
Pseudonyms
Groeneveld, van der Zwan and Voermans continue to occur in an almost bewildering number of pseudonyms under which they partly also produced very successful. The publication of E under the pseudonym Drunkenmunky is even the biggest commercial success of the trio, which could reach the top ten of the German single charts in 2002.
