Kluczkowo

Kluczkowo ( German name Klützkow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the gmina Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) in a circle Świdwin.

Geographical Location

Kluczkowo is located seven kilometers south-east of Świdwin on a side road to Bierzwnica ( Reinfeld ) and Gawroniec ( Gersdorf ). The course of the river Rega forms the eastern city limits.

History

Klützkow with Charlottenhof and Klützkower mill (Polish: Kluczkówko ) is mentioned in the book Neumark country in 1337 as Clocktzow and was owned by Seg. de Voltzikow. 1447 acquired the Carthusian monastery Schivelbein part of the village and got here the church patronage.

In 1602 Klützkow is owned by the Junkers Henning Reich 1621 it buys Lorenz of wax on wood Dargislaff 1651 are his sons Vincent Henning and Hans Christof owners, and in 1784 it is owned by Gans Edler Putlitzstrasse.

In 1843 Klützkow has 270 inhabitants, in 1939 there are 405 in 95 households. The municipality area was 1464 hectares and was farmed by 45 family farms.

The estate was owned before 1945 by Paul Müller. Charlottenhof belonged to Friedrich Wilhelm Schlotte.

Mayors were until 1944 Reinhold Schulz, 1944-1945 Paul Müller and turn Reinhold Schulz. With the communities Gumtow, Repzin and Wartenstein Klützkow belonged to the official and Standesamtsbzirk Long hooks. He was up to the district reform in 1932 Schivelbein circle, the rose then in the district Belgard ( Persante ). The local court was in Schivelbein.

The occupation of the place by Russian troops on March 5, 1945 took place after heavy fighting. About 120 dead German soldiers and civilians were buried in a mass grave in the cemetery Klützkower near the morgue. About 1000 prisoners were of Klützkow of the way into the captivity.

In August 1945, the expulsion of the German population began. Klützkow came into Polish hands and is now as Kluczkowo to Gmina Świdwin in the newly made circle Schivelbein.

Church

Parish

Klützkow was in the 14th century Mother Church with the daughter church Simmatzig. In nachreformatorischer time Klützkow then formed an independent church in the composite of the parish Reinfeld. Gumtow and Charlottenhof belonged to the parish Klützkow which counted a total of 850 members of the congregation in 1940. She was part of the church district Schivelbein in the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union.

Today Kluczkowo belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.

Village Church

The Klützkower church dated back to 1856. She was built of boulders and bricks with a polygonal chancel without a tower. The two gables were raised stepwise through the roof. Next to the church there was a belfry.

School

At the village school taught before 1945 as the last German teacher Fritz Ristow, who also held the post of organist.
