Kľušov

Kľušov (Hungarian Kolosso - to 1907 Klyussó ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia with 1046 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It belongs to Okres Bardejov, Prešov Region of a circle and is the traditional landscape Saris counted.

Geography

The municipality is located in a small valley called Bartošovská kotlina on the southwestern slopes of the Low Beskid in the source area of the inflow from Šibská voda, which opens in Bardejov in the Topľa. The nearly 15.4 km ² municipal area is mostly hilly and few forests. The center is located at an altitude of 317 m nm and is seven kilometers from Bardejov and 35 km from Prešov away.

Administratively divided the community in community Kľušov parts and Kľušovská Zábava.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1330 as Senvalt writing and originated in the early 14th century. 1427 are listed in a control register 35 Porta. Over the centuries, the village belonged to families as Perényi, Zápolya, Bornemisza and Klobusiczky. 1722 burned Kľušov down completely.

1787 were counted 75 houses and 542 inhabitants, in 1828 already 97 houses and 735 inhabitants.

Until 1918, belonged to the county located in the Saddle Rosh place the Kingdom of Hungary and was then Czechoslovakia and Slovakia today.
