The residual field of the former pit United Ville east of Knapsack is left as a nature reserve itself. From the western end of the avenue street you can find a way into the otherwise inaccessible due to their steep slopes reforested parts of the mine until Bleibtreusee. The former cemetery is now Knapsack Park and is a listed building.
