Knarvik

Knarvik is a place in southwestern Norwegian Fylke Hordaland. It is the administrative center of the municipality Lindas and also the regional center of Nordhordland. 4995 inhabitants (as of 2011) live here.

Knarvik has a high school with approximately 1000 students. Additionally, with the Knarvik senter a large shopping center, which also houses the Norwegian newspaper Nordhordland has its headquarters.

Through the village runs the European Route 39, which crosses the Hagelsund Bridge and the Nordhordland Bridge to Bergen.
