Kohila Parish

Kohila ( German: Koil or Kappakoil ) is a rural municipality in the Estonian county Rapla with an area of ​​230.2 km ². It has 6910 inhabitants (1 January 2009). Kohila is located in the north of the district, about 33 km from Tallinn and 22 km from Rapla.

In addition to the main town Kohila ( 3549 inhabitants ) belong to the rural community of today, the major villages Hageri and Prillimäe and villages Aandu, Adila, Aespa, Angerja, Hageri, Kadaka, Lohu, Loone, Lümandu, Masti, Mälivere, Pahkla, Pihali, Pukamäe, Põikma, Rabivere, Rootsi, Salutaguse, Sutlema, Urge, Vilivere.
