Kokki

The Tennōki (Japanese天皇 记, dt " records of Tennō "), even Sumera - mikoto no fumi read, and Kokki ( Kyūjitai :国 记, Shinjitai :国 记, dt " records of the country "), even Kokuki read and Kuni tsu fumi, are ancient Japanese history books, said to have been created around the year 620 of Shōtoku Taishi and Soga no Umako. Both were lost, but served as the source of the Nihon Shoki. Should they really have given, it would be almost 100 years older than the Kojiki.

The Nihon Shoki writes to its creation:

「是歳、皇太子・嶋大臣、共に議りて、天皇記及び國記、臣連伴造國造百八十部[并][Anm. 1]て 公民 等 の 本 記 を 録 す. 」

" Kotoshi, Hitsugi no miko Shima no tomo ni Ohoomi hakarite Sumera - mikoto no fumi, oyobi Kuni tsu fumi, omi no komuraji tomo no kuni no miyatsuko miyatsuko momo amari yaso tomonowo ahasete ohomitakaradomo no moto tsu fumi where shirusu. "

"This year, the Crown Prince [ Shōtoku Taishi ] and Shima no Ohoomi [ working dt "Minister with the garden " [note 2] = Soga no Umako ] together on the Sumera - mikoto no fumi [= Tennōki ] and the Kuni tsu fumi [= Kokki ] wrote the true story of the court nobility. "

During the Isshi Incident 645 of Soga no Emishi the property burned down ( the son of Soga no Umako ). The Nihon Shoki writes:

「蘇我臣蝦夷等、誅されむとして、悉に天皇記・國記・珍寶を燒く。船史惠尺、即ち疾く、燒かるる國記を取りて、中大兄に奉獻る。」

" Soga no Emishi omi -ra, korosaremutoshite, futsuki ni Sumera - mikoto no Kuni tsu fumi fumi takaramono where yaku. Fune no Fubito Wesaka, sunahachi toku, yakaruru Kuni tsu fumi where Torite, no Naka ni Ohře tatematsuru. "

"When Soga no Emishi was about to be killed, burned the Sumera - mikoto no fumi [= Tennōki ], Kuni tsu fumi [= Kokki ] and treasures. Fune no Fubito Wesaka took on the spot quickly the burning Kuni tsu fumi and offered it Kuni no Ohře dar. "

On 13 November 2005, the remains of the estate of Soga no Iruka ( Emishis son ) were discovered in Asuka in Nara prefecture. These support the description in the Nihon Shoki.
