Koldbrann

Koldbrann (Norwegian: , gangrene ') is a Norwegian black metal band. It was founded in 2001 in Drammen.

Band History

The band released two demos in 2002 out, and soon afterwards, in 2003, their first album Nekrotisk Inkvisition. Originally the album was limited to 333 units, but there have been published by various partially also limited re-releases. After a split album with Ljå and an EP, she switched to the German Twilight-Vertrieb, who released her second album Moribund on which Iblis and Wachtfels involved from Endstille. This was followed by a split with Faustcoven and the band went on tour with inverter and sarcoma.

The cover of both albums are works by famous artists borrowed. So the cover of Nekrotisk Inkvisiton comes from the upper part of the right wing of Hieronymus Bosch's hay wagon. The cover of Moribund contains a scene of the Last Temptation of Stefan Lochner.

Mannevond singers also sang at Endstille, sings at Enthral, plays bass with Urgehal and sang in the song Liquid Fire of Crucifixion with.
