Kololi

Kololi is a district of the municipality Kanifing (English Kanifing Municipal) in the West African nation of Gambia.

The district is located in the west of the municipality and belongs to the town Serekunda. In the census of 1993 Kololi was listed as a separate town with 4416 inhabitants.

Geography

The district Manjai Kunda is located adjacent to the east, the boundary is defined by the main road Kotu Stream Road, which leads from Kotu to Sayerr Jobe Avenue. To the south lies the district Bakoteh, both districts are separated by the Kololi Road. In the southwest, the border of the municipality Kanifing runs adjacent to the south is the place Kerr Seringe Ngaga. In the north- west by the coast of the Atlantic Ocean lies to the Kololi Beach. The Kololi Point is located near here.
