Konni (including Koni, coma and Komung ) is the endangered language of the coma in northern Ghana.
It is with about 3,800 speakers (2003 GILLBT ) a little -used language within the language area of Sisaala and Buli. The coma - language islands are located in a restricted geographically isolated area northwest of the confluence of the rivers Kulpawn and Sisili to which there was in the late 1980s no road access. Yikpabongo is the main village of the coma, another called Nangurima.
Konni has a relationship to Mampruli, Hanga and Buli ( here 60 % agreement ) on.
